Didn't they blame Clinton for Branch Dividian?
What the hell is this all about...blaming the CIA for Bush's incompetence? I thought that the "adults" were in charge. "Adults" are supposed to take responsibility for their actions...parents are held accountable for what their children do wrong.

If you folks let the whoring media and the Bush cabal get away with this "Tenent-falling-on-his-sword" bullshit you deserve to get Bush for another 4 years!

You should be burning the Congressional and media faxes and e-mails up!

Has everyone forgotten that Powell also lied and used bogus information when testifying before the UN? There is a pattern here and that's what we should be screaming to everyone.

When did Bush know the intelligence was bogus? It was long before they finally admitted it.

1. Oh, Come On Wade!
See this for what it is.

"WASHINGTON - CIA (news - web sites) Director George Tenet gave Congress and the White House the accountability they demanded, declaring Friday that the blame for President Bush (news - web sites)'s false allegation about an Iraqi nuclear deal rested squarely with him and his agency."

Only a Democrat (Which Tenent is) would try to use the "buck stops here" rule and take responsibility for something that falls into his realm.......his only problem is he's a little to "over-zealous" in his attempt.

Later is this specific report he states:

"Officials who were reviewing the draft remarks on uranium raised several concerns about the fragmentary nature of the intelligence with National Security Council colleagues," Tenet said. "Some of the language was changed. From what we know now, agency officials in the end concurred that the text in the speech was factually correct that the British government report said that Iraq sought uranium from Africa."

The key words here are “factually correct”.

Kind of funny here. Clinton's factualy correctness (I did not have "sex" with that woman) only cost this nation the money Republicans wasted in their rabid attempts to finally dent Clinton's armor.

Bush "factual correctness" has cost the lives of over 200 American military servicemen and women and over $4 billion a month for an illegal invasion and pillaging of a foreign country!

2. Hell, the reich-wing blames Clinton for the Ruby Ridge incedent...
Even though it happened months before Clinton even took office! Facts don't get in the way of the reich-wing.
