One of my favorite 2004 Moments Jon Stewart on Crossfire
For those who didn't see it here is the clip

He really told Scott Tucker off.

Love the Man
Happy New Year

No wonder he won an Emmie

1. at Chimpie's first debate when he
looked at the camera, opened his mouth, and nothing came out for 3 or 4 seconds, that was a real hoot for me, a funny moment on television.

Yeah, Stewart is a great man. He's got brass and I like that.

4. It was fun to watch Novak rip Stewart yesterday after showing the clip
Poor ol' Bob "the douchebag of democracy" was knotted up with hatred as he attacked Jon; he you could literally see the toxicity of of his soul.

Novak just stews knowing how truly popular Stewart is.

8. pure greed, selfishness, narcissism and meanness; Novak's the perfect
Republican. Seething with hatred that anyone else has anything, and begrudging any help to anyone, he relishes his position as proof of his innate superiority, and his only form of humor seems to be reveling in the misfortune of others.

He loves the fact that he's above the law in the Plame affair, and glories in knowing that his power is such that nobody can mention it on CNN. Republicans love being privileged; it's not enough to be successful, you have to make other bend to your will. What a sadistic loser.

7. Don't envy Americans much ...
... but I'm insanely jealous that you guys get Jon Stewart five nights a week.

We get a half hour "Weekly Daily Show" on CNN International, but I've watched that video of the "Crossfire" appearance several times online because it's so great. I love the awkwardness Stewart at the outset while Begala, tucker and the audience wait for the punchline they assume Stewart's gonna deliver. And the way it slowly dawns on everyone that's he's quite serious in his criticism. Although he still gets in some excellent gags.

On a more positive side of the ledger -- CNN International doesn't screen "Crossfire". I saw just enough of Tucker on their Convention coverage last year to know how much he (and US media in general) deserved that bollocking from Stewart.

11. OK, maybe it is...
like I said, I'm not in the US. I keep hearing people talk about tonight's show or last night's show so I assumed it was Mon-Fri.

Still four nights is better than one.
