The way the twenty first century has started out, I am afraid it is going

to make the bloodletting in the twentieth century look trivial by comparison. At least the twentieth century gave rise to enormously wise and courageous leaders: Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Einstein, FDR, Ike, Churchill and many others. The century is still young but given the lack of any moral roots of people, I do not expect this century to be as productive of sane, wise men.

1. Still, you never know.

All of those characters were reviled, many of them by both the right and the left. We don't know yet who the heros of the 21st century will be, but I beileve they will be.

And we have some bang up villians, as well. And I do know who a few of them will be.
