He's a spoiled brat who truley believes only he and his kind are ordained by God to enjoy the riches of this nation. He has utter contempt for ordinary people but realizes he needs their vote so he panders to them even while he despises them. He's running this country into the ground and he doesn't give a damn. It's going to take years to recover from his Presidency.

It's been a roller coaster ride with this administration for me. First, the selection of 2000. Then policies that were just a bit worse than I would have predicted - and I was never optomistic about Bush. Then 911. I confess I was among those who wanted to get behind this president because as miserable and embarassing ("folks", "evildoers", "crusade", etc) as he was, he was the president we had at a time of monumental national crisis. I tried to look at him in the best light and excused some of the excesses and even kept an open mind about Iraq for quite a while. However, as it became clearer and clearer that we were being led by people with a preset agenda which wasn't really being driven by current events, but rather by their own philosophy and as they systematically demonized anyone who didn't fall in line, I began to lean toward the antichrist theory. They seemed scarily evil and also unstoppable. Now, however, they're seeming more and more like the Keystone Kops, only much deadlier. They don't have their ducks in any kind of row. They don't have a Plan B for anything, only Excuse B, C, D, and right through the alphabet if they need it. I think it's starting to wear thin with the general public. I'm not as scared that they can't be removed, but it's still pretty scary if they should remain in power. Maybe more so because incompetent idiots don't have any sense of limits.

I think he buys into the neocon plan, but I think that plan is fairly stupid on all fronts. As much as I am afraid right now, I really dont think America will tolerate them for very long. They move too fast and they are simply ignorant on most issues. They are ruining the country and it will come back to kick them in the ass.
