I know, he's old, and no doubt mud from his past would be dredged up to hurl at him. But still, I find the thought thrilling.

And wouldn't you want to see a VP debate between Byrd and Cheney?

Byrd is way too old and he wouldn't be the best in a debate. He talks slowly and takes breaks for several seconds. That is good in the senate but very bad in a debate. He isn't exactly very popular either.
