New England School of Photography senior Karen O'Neill yesterday nearly got taken for a ride - literally.
A beef with movers over the price to cart the 22-year-old's stuff from a Beacon Hill apartment to one on Park Drive in the Fenway erupted into a screaming match, and before it was over, O'Neill was locked in the moving van with workers threatening to take off with her in it.
``I started freaking out and screaming and pounding (when the doors closed),'' O'Neill said.
The brouhaha started, O'Neill said, when the movers pulled up to her new apartment yesterday morning, with their truck full of her furniture, and demanded $600 before they would unload it - $150 more than the written contract they had agreed to.
