Nightmare
I just heard on Crossfire that Ahnold's promoter, David someone or other, not only will be introducing that amendment to allow foreign borns to run for president, but he will also be introducing something to LIFT THE TWO TERM LIMIT, thereby making it possible for * to run again in 2008. This is VERY alarming. Does anyone know anything about this attempt to lift the two term limit? Here is where we absolutely have to get out into the streets, or we'll have stolen elections with a dictator in charge for YEARS.

Anyway, they'll be covering the Canada protests on this segment of Crossfire.

9. Neither would the red states...

see post above.

Clinton would be able to run again... and no amount of election
rigging could keep Bush in office. Remember, for election hacks
to work, they HAVE to keep it plausibly close (within 5 percent,
maybe 7 percent).

8. They're trying to get people riled
Good marketing for your TV show, but not likely to ever happen.

4. His handler is probably David Dreier
congressman from somewhere in O.C. (CA). This is consistent -- they just want to change all the rules now that there are no checks on their power. F*** THEM!!!!!! Let's pray the Dems have some spine and stand up to this (BOTH bills).

5. Bill Clinton would be our next president.

I dont think we have to worry at all about this stuff. The party has bigger fish to fry.

Remember the Bush cult doesnt run the government, they just get used by it.

6. That's great, it would allow Clinton to run again and in the next
...four years we should be able to get enough goods on Shrub, Arnold and most of the other ambitious republicans to impeach their asses making them felons and therefore unable to run for public office and unable to vote.

7. No way
I've been talking to friends on both sides of the political spectrum about the push to allow naturalized citizens to run for President, and there has been very little support. The few that would consider it are still skeptical. I hope the push to end two term limits is greeted with as little enthusiasm. Nothing would be more discouraging than Bush running in 2008.

10. What Clinton should do
President Clinton ought to come out and say that he plans to run again if this passes, that out to stop it dead in it's tracks, heh  No way the repubs want him to ever run again as he would clobber who ever they run.

he would clean their clocks. That would be fun but this is a really stupid idea and I don't see it passing.

12. Clinton just had by pass surgery.
Don't get me wrong, I want him to run and I'm sure he'd win. But the guy really needs to cut the cholesterol and the red meat or he isn't going to be around in 2008, let alone running for prez.

13. I said it more of a tongue in cheek thing
And I do hope he gets everything under control, but I'm sure he's got it covered.
