Behind the Scenes of Clinton's library opening.
This is a must read!

excerpt:

...Offstage, beforehand, Rove and Bush had had their library tours. According to two eyewitnesses, Rove had shown keen interest in everything he saw, and asked questions, including about costs, obviously thinking about a future George W Bush library and legacy. "You're not such a scary guy," joked his guide. "Yes, I am," Rove replied. Walking away, he muttered deliberately and loudly: "I change constitutions, I put churches in schools ..." Thus he identified himself as more than the ruthless campaign tactician; he was also the invisible hand of power, pervasive and expansive, designing to alter the fundamental American compact.

Bush appeared distracted, and glanced repeatedly at his watch. When he stopped to gaze at the river, where secret service agents were stationed in boats, the guide said: "Usually, you might see some bass fishermen out there." Bush replied: "A submarine could take this place out."

Was the president warning of an al-Qaida submarine, sneaking undetected up the Mississippi, through the locks and dams of the Arkansas river, surfacing under the bridge to the 21st century to dispatch the Clinton library? Is that where Osama bin Laden is hiding?

Or was this a wishful paranoid fantasy of ubiquitous terrorism destroying Clinton's legacy with one blow? Or a projection of menace and messianism, with only Bush grasping the true danger, standing between submerged threat and civilisation? Perhaps it was simply his way of saying he wouldn't build his library near water.

2. One Gulp of Rudeness and Paranoia & He Was Gone
Despite the event's attempt to bring "Red-Blue" together, it has been clear since 2000 that he's never been interested in that. It would have been TOO blatant for him not to have been there at all. But wait, at Poppy's lie-barry dedication, CLINTON was dis-invited, wasn't he? It's great to hear that JK got a rousing welcome. Amazing how much our 24/7 media does NOT inform us of, ain't it? Did any outlet cover GORE speaking?

10. Nope - and I didn't even know Kerry was there until an article a couple of
days later mentioned it. Expecting news from the media is an exercise in futility.
PS I think poppy's library is spelled lie-bury. Get it? Yuk yuk.
Sigh.

4. If this story is true...word for word...then
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeezus, we are in for it!! Talk about "Dark Hearts".

I can't say what I'd like to about "them" (this isn't all Bush's doing; it's about the whole cabal), but rubber rooms with prison bars is too good for the whole damn bunch!

6. I think the picture of Bush says it all ...
He appears to be trying to squeeze past former president Clinton (who is still recovering from open-heart surgery, so he's probably not able to walk fast enough to please Georgie). Bush came across as impatient, haughty, and downright petulant as he sat listening to everybody praising WJC. He was making silly faces and couldn't even bother to conceal his boredom (since it wasn't about HIM, of course).

7. Clinton's library opening now on C-Span in California
This ceremony is certainly something to see. It made my Thanksgiving evening a bit more special. He has so much class. Maybe if we can ever get back to any power, he could be included in some diplomatic role for our country.
Thank y'all for being here. I've been very upset about the results of the election, and it's hard to discuss this with anyone.

9. Thank you
It took me awhile to relocate where I was!
Mostly I just try to inform myself here. I'd like to do something positive. I've got it narrowed down to:
trying to do something about the voting system in this country, or to try to get some information in the media besides corporate spin.

12. Freaking bizarre and scary.
Yes, Mr. Bush, and a stealth bomber could take it out too. Got any plans?

It would have been better if Bush had feigned another pretzel attack and not shown up at all if that's the way he was going to act. But then the little king wanted his TV face time I suppose. And got caught shoving the guest of honor still healing from a bypass.

Ironic that a mere poor born "hick" from Arkansas can conduct himself with more class and grace in public than this Ivy Leagued "blueblood" from New England.

13. If this is true
If this is true and he really said that, it's alaming. "Our Leader", even on a rainy day, inabits a mental posture of total war. The one who holds the power may very well be habitually visualizing a kind of global conflict unimaginable to any sane person.

We have to get these freaks out of power.
