Dan COULTER Is on My Local Radio Wingnut Talkshow

I sent the wingnut host SEVERAL of the killer posts about her from the very brilliant and witty DU-ers, plus CONASON's and Spinsanity's reviews of her latest fake book.

The host has just asked her about McCARTHY's besottedness and lying about being a tailgunner in the service. She said "he did DRINK" but says this is a minor flaw compared to EVERYBODY in D.C., and that his LIE is a myth, that it might be compared to resume padding and "look at Al GORE".

He brings up that in her Acknowledgments she thanks MIGUEL ESTRADA. She said, for helping her on her previous book.

For a Monday after a long holiday weekend, sounds like the chardonnay and cig smoke has not muddled her voice and mouth. Forget her vile mind.

Host said, "After the break, if you can stop knashing your teeth, call in a question for Miss COULTER."

1. "Liberals are not patriots."

Host asked, "Why do 'THEY' hate us." Wasn't this a yak topic about the rest of the world? She changed it to LIBERALS hating America.

Now she called President CARTER "Lord HawHaw(sp?)" and associating him with Tokyo Rose, Ezra POUND, and any possible "traitor".

Host asked, "You leave no room for somebody loving their country but saying something needs fixing."

She sez, "Oh, no, that's absolutely fine, but that's why I go through 50 years of TREACHERY by the Democrats."

Host brings up HST as having been the one who instituted the Loyalty Oath. She didn't know. Changed the subject over to the ROSENBERGS.

There's no question about the title of the new tome from the darling of the conservative right. Ann Coulter's new one bears the emphatic title "Treason." I will give this a look as I like to keep an open mind. But the last time I read a book by Ms. Coulter, I thought if I had substituted the word "conservative" for every time she wrote "liberal," I'd have a more realistic read.

Ask her what she thinks of homosexuality. When she says God said it is "abomination" etc. ask her how she can support Roy Cohn, McCarthy's right hand man and scum sucking attack dog lawyer. Also, closet homosexual who died of AIDS.
Ask if she has homosexual leanings herself. If she wishes she were a man. Ask if she'd ever like to whip a liberal, while she's nude, and not with just any whip, a long well-oiled whip . . .

Ask what it's like to be her age and unmarried without children. Isn't she pro-family?

What kind of medications is she on, and why did she go off of them? Has she stopped having electroshock therapy?

Ask if she's one of those women with the extra y chromosome that makes her sort of "half man."

Also, why does she hate the Bill of Rights?

If Gore had won the Electoral College vote, but Bush had won the popular vote, would she be satisfied that the will of the people had been expressed and that Gore should be the president.

As a witch, should she be burned at the stake?

My suggestion? All she says on every show is how McCarthy is always made to look bad through third party quotes and not directly. She repeats it over and over. If you have access to such materials (decent college library usually does it) dig up some McCarthy quotes from either biographies, historical accounts, periodicals, or the Congressional Record that are damning to him and his reputation. Be able to read them verbatim with sources. She will interrupt. I promise.

3. Host Is Quoting One of My E-mails

From CONASON's review saying it was during EISENHOWER that McCARTHY was tumbled. She said that's wrong. She said Repukes had been "brought in" to criticize McCARTHY. She said EISENHOWER "was not exactly a fire-breathing (wingnut) and made mistakes.

She says BUCKLEY likes her book, she heard thru the grapevine and hopes he will say so publically.


That's all, folks-----------a half hour bit. Host said he hasn't read it all, "she's obviously a polemnicist, obviously aggressive in making her points." It's over.

The local wingnut is a "modern" wingnut, the scion of a family of oldstyle raging wingnuts, but he is educated, talks to all varieties of everybody, sez he can't stomach watching some Faux shows and doesn't agree with EVERYTHING LIMBOsevic sez. He's still a wingnut.
