Americans, Egyptians or anyone else!

My son is considering applying to the American University in Cairo for next fall/spring semesters. He's a recent graduate of UW-Madison.

Anyway, I have concerns, of course, and general questions. Probably more concerns than questions, to be perfectly honest...

2. I lived in Cairo for a year

but that was ten years ago. Things are probably different now. I think there is a lot more hatred toward Americans now. Everyone was friendly and welcoming when I was there. I didn't go to the university but knew some people who did.
