Repuke State Representative who decided he wanted to be a test pilot for Boeing about the time he turned 56. Boeing wanted younger test pilots so he sued for being passed over and played the race card since he's Cuban.

The GD hypocrisy of the Republican party is mind blowing to say the least. They rail on about evil trial lawyers and frivolous lawsuits until they or someone they know wants to cash in. Given the chance I'd guarantee this ass would vote to cap medical malpractice to 250K.

Talk about frivolous,I hope Boeing appeals this award for a decade or two.

1. Talk About Hypocrisies, Huh?
Wasn't this the party that was all up and in arms about trial lawyers hurting gynecologists, etc. during the campaign?

2. Rules only apply
other people not them. Our State Attorney General here in Texas campaigned for the tort reform limiting awards to $250,000 but didn't offer to return most of the $11 million he was awarded in his lawsuit. It was Ok for him to get that money for being in a wheelchair, but not for others in similar circumstances.

3. Get ready for the "Goico rule" regarding lawsuit reform
like the "DeLay Rule" for ethics reform . . .
