question about nuclear power?
What is the world power that has declared that certain countries are allowed to maintain and develop nuclear weapons..and others are forbidden to do so? What is this based upon?

3. it's based on "might makes right"
Although I'm sure there are public rationales. But pragmatically, if you already have nukes, you get to keep them. If you don't, the countries that do will do anything they can to keep you from getting them.

Any other "justification" I've ever heard is just phony moral posturing.

4. What's up in Brazil?
The Girls of Iponema have developed a centrifuge that can refine uranium better than the European model!

And, will the Bush administration work to develop and use "bunker buster" nukes?

5. But is it the UN that monitors and sanctions?
Was there some decloration or accord or whatever after WWII? How is it that the UN can sanction countries that attempt to develop nuclear weapons..such as Iran..how can this be done without something..some accord to back it up? What about Isreal? Anyone know what world law or mandate allows for some countries to keep and develop such weapons while others are forbidden to develop them?

6. Well, there used to be a nuclear test-ban treaty.
But Bush blew that off during his first term.
