Rules Change to Protect Delay
House GOP to Change Leadership Rules

By Charles Babington

House Republicans plan to change their rules in order to allow members indicted by state prosecutors to remain in a leadership post, a move designed to benefit Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) in case he is charged by a Texas grand jury.

8. There is really no reason not to
with all the technology available these days.

He can have a phone and fax in his cell, high speed internet. Just like tele-commuting. Think of the cost savings - he can just use a trustee as his secretary.

Now moral values mean coddling criminals? ARE THESE REPUBLICANS ALL CORRUPT TO THE CORE? My God, I hate to say this, but I no longer love being an American if this is what being an American encompasses...

and again next week and go visit him and tell him what you think too. Write the paper. Visit your senator. Write your senator. Put together a petition.

that's what democracy is about. If we just sit back and nurse our outrage we're not doing a whole lot to thwart this kind of evil, and it will always exist.

11. Yep. That's how they do it.
They change the laws to avoid being penalized the same as everybody else. Because, heaven forbid that there is ever evidence showing that white people have a criminal gene inside them.
