Ohio To Go Through Statewide Vote Recount After All

WCPO.COM
SPECIAL SECTION

Election 2004
11/16/04 12:08:55 PM

A statewide recount of the presidential vote appears inevitable after a pair of third-party candidates said they have collected enough money to pay for it.

The recount would be conducted after the election results are certified in early December.

Libertarian Michael Badnarik and the Green Party's David Cobb said on Monday they raised more than $150,000 in four days, mostly in small contributions. ...

Pretty clear they are not doing this for THEMSELVES...

4. Remains to be seen.
...and on whether the votes will be counted in a different way. It will be VERY interesting to see the results.

If the results are identical to the previous count, I will be forced to personally concede the election once and for all, (Although I will ALWAYS have nagging doubts due to the nature of the E-machines...)

6. It all depends on Blackwell at this point. Asking for $1 million now,
I heard? And also stating that they can't recount until after the certification, which is almost a month away.

3. THANK YOU!
I'm not expecting a recount to change the outcome, but that doesn't mean we can ignore the problems with our election system. If we ignore it now, stolen elections are all the more likely in the future.

Thanks to our third parties for once again caring more about our nation's future than their own political agendas.

7. I liked what they've been doing even before the election
They've been 'on tour' together and debate at public events

No personal attacks

light on the demagoguery

Heavy on substance.

12. After vote is certified?
What good is it? If the vote is certified it is official and you can recount till you are blue in the face. Face it we are in Bushworld for 4 more years no matter the results of any after certification recounts.
WE must rise up as one and take to the streets. For the thousandth time. Please join in and try to find an organization to support an effort to organize a massive march.
I really think the recount route is over. Kerry's latest letter calls for us to keep fighting as the party out of power. He is done over. We must rise up and take it upon ourselves to join together as brothers and sisters of patriotism to take the nation back.
