5. Do they think they are immune?
They have watched, and even participated in
various witch hunts. They thought they would be
spared? Guess not. Now the fun begins as the repugs
eat their young.

7. you should see the freepers fighting each other over it
Edited on Mon Nov-15-04 03:57 AM by AIndependentTexan
The irony of this is so lost on these people. If they don't have liberals to bash, gays to hate, and Jesus to love they turn on each other like rabies infected animals.

"If you have a race that is won by a percent or two, you have a narrowly divided country, and that's not a traditional mandate," he said. "President Bush will have that very much in mind."

Arlen Specter, just one day after the historic Republican victory at the ballot box has warned the president not to nominate judges that are too pro-life or too conservative. The arrogance and sheer audacity of Senator Specter proves that he, despite any claims of seniority, is unfit to Chair the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Voters sent a clear message of support for the President's agenda, and he deserves a Chairman that shares his views of the judicial nomination process, not a maverick seeking to impose his own beliefs on the court.

These people have truly lost it!

"trying to tell conservatives to accept Specter's more recent "clarifying" statements"

Memo to Lindsay Graham: you want out next? I want 3 new judges like Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia. Got it?

Here is what I wqrote Sen Grahasm:
Dear Senator, I know you mean well with respect to appointing Specter as Chair of the Jusiciary Comm. But SPECTER has SPOKEN TOO! Please BORK him now or any mistake in appointing him may well reflect in the next election. Let us not loose the GOP majority. Thansk you.

SPECTOR MIGHT AS WELL BE A RAT. HE CAN LEAVE AND TAKE CHAFEY AND SNOW WITH HIM. WE SHOULD BE RECRUITING THE CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS TO COME TO OUR SIDE AND KICK THESE MORONS OUT.

The people of South Carolina should have listened to the rumors of him being a homo because it's looking clearer that it is true.

Let me get this straight. We should invite in the rats who have rejected our party every election, but we should kick out Specter. The man Dubya, Cheney, Allen, Santorum and the rest of the Republican party worked so hard to re-elect. Brilliant.

You are so full of it. Why not just admit you hate the Republican Party...Go back to DU.

If Specter is allowed to head the Judiciary Committee, there will be a six year internal fight among Republicans that will depress the vote for Republicans in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

My comment to Sen. Graham:
If you permit Arlen Spectre to chair the judiciary committe,
I am one of MILLIONS of Christians who will take it as a betrayal of everything we thought we were working for when we supported your party.

I can assure you -- if that happens, MILLIONS of us will either sit out the next elections, or give our votes to third or fourth parties.

It's not the open virulence of Democrats that hurts the most, BUT SUAVE BETRAYAL BY PERCEIVED FRIENDS.

Spectre today = loss of presidency, house, and senate in 2008. I can promise you that.

9. you guys and girls truly have to read this one to the very end
It is freeper against freeper over there. We also might have a freeper seeing the light. I'll post what I'm talking about. This is the very last post I saw over there!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The liberal Alan Spector believes in appointing the Judges that found the following things that are not in the Constitution:
So now you're a rich mind reading lawyer. That is not what Specter says or what past voting shows and I have pointed out Specter's record in posts to this page. Past record shows Specter voted for the PBA ban, and I know you lawyers play fast and loose with the truth, but it takes some balls to blame Specter for Roe Wade when Specter was first elected to the Senate in 81. Get your facts straight Mr Mall Lawyer.

Sorry, but I have to say you are a liar since if you had looked at the Constitution you would know the following is in it:

A lawyer is calling me a liar. ROTFLMAO!

I will send you my standard bill for $350 per hour for the above advice.

You'll get every cent your advice was worth.

It's time for you to break free of the ideology that keeps from seeing the truth, notkerry. You want revenge for Bork. Thomas did not equal things out for you. You want revenge even though that will hurt the Republican party and I hope you understand that a weaker Republican party means less conservative legislation.

Go find a bad lawyer that gets this rate moron.

Specter is caught between the right wing that abandoned him in this election and the moderate Kerry voters in PA that voted for him. I don't blame a representative for voting to keep their constituents happy. That's why they call them Representatives...I really shouldn't have to explain this to a lawyer of such obvious demand. I expect you believe a Republican should be defeated before caving into the will of the people and desecrating a Constitution that has already been perverted. You're playing a game you can't win because you don't understand the rules. You think defeating imperfect Republicans will save the nation. I think you are the "moron."

I copied the other because I thought they would also like to see this response to you, Once-Ler!

You paged the others because you can't fight your own battles. I'll bet you plead out all your cases.

10. Interesting. Internal discord is comparatively rare in the land of Freeper
Anyone on DU knows that our side is argumentative, and somewhat less bound by partisan loyalty. Democrats are traditionally a more fractious party and are more inclined to criticize one another, which is both good and bad IMO. It takes considerably more stress for Republicans to turn on one another.
