I made a little video/slide show the other day and thought I'd share it with everyone.....

It's my first attempt at using MS Moviemaker.. please watch it and give some feedback...

It's set to the Pearl Jam's cover of Bob Dylan's "Masters of War"....

All I ask is please, please "Right Click, Save As.." so it doesn't kill my buddies server...(thanks mysubaruimp of SBN)

Nate, that was awesome! I know nothing about movie making so I can't give you that kind of advice, but I can tell you that I loved watching it... The Dylan tune you chose was perfect! You spent a lot of time on this but I'm sure it felt good! A cleansing of sort... Either that or it made you even madder...

PS - By the way, a few days ago a high school in Denver got a visit from two Secret Service agents because they planned on performing this song in the upcoming talent show. Apparently, the last verse says something about hoping that the President will die and they thought that warranted wasting our money and taking a trip out there to speak to the "suspects"...

School Talent Show Draws Secret Service :Colorado Band Singing Dylan Song Seen as Threatening President Bush


BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 12, 2004 — Parents and students say they are outraged and offended by a proposed band name and song scheduled for a high school talent show in Boulder this evening, but members of the band, named Coalition of the Willing, said the whole thing is being blown out of proportion.

The students told ABC News affiliate KMGH-TV in Denver they are performing Bob Dylan's song "Masters of War" during the Boulder High School Talent Exposé because they are Dylan fans. They said they want to express their views and show off their musical abilities.

7. Right On! If you make a higher-res version

someone here can probably give you server space and ease the burden on your friend's server. It's the kind of imagery that demands and deserves to be seen full-screen, but the artifacting was a problem. If you have higher resolution originals, I think it would be worth the time to create a high res version as well.

If Moviemaker is the cause of the artifacting you might look at the Flash format. These guys http://www.takebackthemedia.com have done some powerful work also.

Making the video was a lot of fun and I am ecstatic that everyone is enjoying it.. I think the song is responsible for 95% of the emotion being felt...

I wish the quality of the pictures was a little better..but again, it was my first time messing with a moviemaker..ConsAreLiars I'll look into using a flash format for my next one...

qijackie: I don't mind at all if you email the link around.. just ask them to "right click, save as". Also, you can email it.. It's not too big, I've been sending it around for the past couple weeks...

Another host is more then welcome...to take the burden off of this one..

I always wondered, if you could get a large group of people to constantly request a song like Pearl Jam's cover of Bob Dylan's "Masters of War" on a radio station, would they not start wondering why the sudden influx of requests, then that song would get into high rotation... then we let the media do its thing...and see what happens.
