1. Do you discriminate between hate and anger?

3. Anger is a symptom of hate.
It is not to be rejected, but examined and reconciled. Anger need not be hateful, though, as it can be channeled to be very productive and positive. Just my humble opinion.

4. I agree with you there
it can and should be channeled appropriately.

8. anger is not a symptom
it is an emotion and it exists for a reason. it exists to compel people to act. how you act determines whether or not it is hate.

10. Thanks for the clarification.
Can I use that? I think I'll need all the help I can get, and I find your comment very helpful.

2. You know I'd normally be very supportive of this
but I am wary of ANYTHING that would cause Dems to NOT stand up strongly right now, win or lose. We need STRONG voices right now. Hatred isn't necessary but anger is and it's justified, in my opinion.

And I am just not in ANY place right now to be holding hands and singing kumbayah with anyone who didn't vote for Kerry.

Would you be into it if we sang "Gypsys, Tramps, and Thieves" instead?

7. How about "Day By Day"?
Day by day
Day by day
Oh Dear Lord
Three things I pray
To see thee more clearly
Love thee more dearly
Follow thee more nearly
Day by day

:eyes:

13. Positive Doesn't Mean Weak!
Positive means an aggressive stance, based on why we're Progressive and why they're regressive. Hate turns off the people in the center. Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter both got elected on positive agendas.

12. Good Idea
Positive appeals to Americans, Progressive is positive. That's a winning hand.
