Grab a Methodist minister and hand him the crown for proper head positioning.

he can do it, otherwise any associate justice could do it as well.

6. It doesn't have to be the CJ
It usually is. Johnson's rushed swearing in utilized the first female judge to preside over a POTUS Inauguration. She was U.S. District Judge Sarah T. Hughes. This was due to the emergent nature of the swearing in after Kennedy was pronounced dead. This was out of the ordinary, however if the CJ is sick, he will probably have Scalia or Thomas do it.
