The Ad Counsel should be disbanded.
After listening to AAR for the last few months I
have come to the conclusion that the Ad Counsel is
the most wastefully crap propaganda that exists.

The ads are inane and mind deadening filled with sanctimonious
messages about "values" that make my skin crawl.

The red cross ads are also pathetic.

1. Ad Council RW, i think. Not sure.

Long ago, the Ad Council was described as a RW group, IIRC. Correct me if wrong.

red cross.. have they shaken off the upper appointees of the era of Dole's wife? She who caused many to resign? She who opposed universal healthcare, against Clinton, and largely responsible with hubby, for ending the effort.
Thousands doubtless have died for lack of it since then.

2. i think so.
I think they are privately funded but get huge amounts
of public free air time for their insidious campaigns.
