These people ALL deserve your applause for helping crack the boy king. I have been getting all the praise, but there are other DUers who deserve just as much praise. While I know I am an attention hound, I cannot in good faith accept it without pointing you to others who were there too.

I could have been there with you (unfortunately, I was out-of-town for the weekend). Can you imagine Shrub's reaction when his motorcade drove right past all of the protesters? I love it! I think that his handlers have managed to keep him away from most protests, so he wasn't used to that.

BTW, your campaign should be prepared to be slammed by your repuke opponent because of the protests, and I'm sure they'll run the video of you over and over and over again during their campaign. The thing is, I think it might backfire on them, since more people will probably appreciate your protest than think you're an unpatriotic traitor!

Thank you for keeping this post going! This is one of the proudest days of my life. I'm so glad to have been a part of ruining Bush's visit. If I could go back tomorrow, I'd do it again.
If you hear a whistle blowing, that was me blasting away on my husband's old army whistle. Jeff's wife was behind me. Jeff, Spike and Willie were on the opposite side of the street.

I don't think they expected us to head downtown. More cruisers, a SWAT van, secret service agents and a big old dog showed up quite a while after we arrived. They had nothing blocked off, so we just made ourselves at home.

Isn't that AWD just amazing. Think of him in congress, then donate to his campaign.
