NC, voting machines would not accept over 3000 votes. THE REST OF THE VOTES ARE NOT JUST MISSING, THEY ARE GONE!!!! I have to read the transcript because I missed the precincts. GEEZ. How many errors do we need before we SCRAP this election and REVOTE on PAPER???

Turley was saying that if they found out that the vote was fixed and that if * knew about it and they could prove it, that would be a high crime and he would face impeachment.

Oh wouldn't that be sweet!

That is more effective I have found as it shows you care enough to do this. That is just my own opinion.

I don't have Keith's email address. If I did I would write to him myself.

Does anyone have Keith Olbermann's email address handy?

btw ... glad to know you voted even though it has been a living hell! Worst thing I've ever seen and I've been voting for 30 years and yes, even worse than the Watergate era believe it or not!

They will conduct and investigation and find out easily enough how blatant the fraud is and the people that wrote the software for those machines is a big * friend.

45. But tell the whole story
If election fraud is determined "after" the swearing in process, and there's no definitive proof the candidate knew of the theft, there's nothing that can be done. Who thinks there would ever be definite evidence AFTER the inauguration that Bush* knew about the election rigging? Not going to happen. If anything is to be done, it has to be done before the electoral college vote (preferably) but definitely before the inauguration.

51. Samantha, I understand what you are saying about Bush. But, if we can
prove fraud happened and actually find out who did it and prosecute them (whether Chimp was involved or not), then we then can probably get some laws passed about paper ballots and paper trails.

PLUS, Chimp will be known as the illegitimate president twice in a row. There goes his legacy!

6. Unbelievable but not surprising
After 2000, you'd think the US Congress would've taken quick and serious action to mandate strict, reliable, consistent, and transparent voting practices across all 50 states that would've ensured elections that didn't turn out to be a bad joke.

But such action is impossible in a country where democracy and representation are just words; words that mean less and less.

Election 2004 is just another ClusterFuck if you'll pardon my language.

I live in NC and we have been hearing about this on Local news, new reports almost everyday, there is a commissioners race in one of our big city's that could not be called for the winners because of this messed up stupid voting with no paper trails till the Provisional Ballots were counted, when they report this they say I am not kidding here, Thank God, these little errors here and other Places did not affect the Presidential Election.

Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 09:30 PM by higher class
I think it's time for me to check in at John Dean's site.

No matter what our options...there is something we can do - it has to reach a wider audience.

We need more articles coming from the editors of the papers who endorsed Kerry and from international papers. It has to hit the magazines. It has to be talked about in the beauty shops, offices, and warehouses.

More specifically, the people who lost their vote (again) have to speak out.

I was very busy in 2000 or 2001 when they took testimony from Florida voters led by M(arian?) Berry. It was very weak and wimpy.

We need to decibels and paragraphs.
We need Springsteen and concerts - not just rock or rap - we need classical, too.

We cannot go quietly. They are taking our vote, but not our voice. Our voice will get us back our vote.

Every minority especially MUST SPEAK.

Tenet and Pavitt resigned, too . . . Then there was O'Neill, and Clarke . . . . it is getting to be a pretty long list.

Ashcroft recused himself from the Plame investigation, though. His resignation most likely does not have much to do with that.

But I sure would like to know why he resigned. Oh, to be a fly on the wall . . .
