You guys are going after the wrong target. Myself and a few other posters have been going after the sponsors of another asshole name David Gold who uses the "rats" tagline, and we are having an effect. Here is the post from mediamatters that got the ball rolling:

That is what we need to do to Savage - we need a permanent thread on this forum to post his advertisers and their email addresses and then we have to email his advertisers, and demand to know why they are paying Savage to call you a RAT.

Now that he's at least off the TV radar, I'm less worried about him. On the other hand, if someone wanted to make a concerted effort to take him (his media presence) down, they'd probably have an easier time of it than if they tried someone more popular (O'Really, Limbleargh). I dunno--Savage is certifiable, but he and Coulter and others like them set the bar of toxicity.

Our biggest mistake has been not fighting these guys, and I think it cost us this election and the last due to our wimpy attitude as we let them do a 24/7 prison rape assfuck on us. We have allowed them to build a new kind of Ministry of Propaganda for their New Fascism - one that is not part of the government, but achieves the same goals. We have lost the working class in this country, because The Ministry of Propaganda under Reichsfurher Limbaugh and his army of fascist radio stooges uses outrage to convince the middle class that their way of life is under attack from the left. We forget that working class people are the ones stuck in traffic or doing long commutes between two jobs to support a family, and as a result his car radio has become the utter duplicate of the TV screen on Winston's wall. It repetitiously repeats the current message ad nauseaum, and the Internet allows them to coordinate the message 24/7, so any AM channel and all talk shows at any hour are discussing the same exact thing giving the same exact explanation - whatever the problem, it is the fault of the left. We have poo-pooed these guys as beneath us, and they have stolen a core democrat constituency as a result - working stiffs. Now what the hell are we going to do about it? Personally, I think we need someplace on the web that keeps track of all his advertisers, both the national and local business that pay this creep to call us "rats" and "filthy lying liberal scum" so we can contact them and boycott them. Only the Almighty Dollar will work against these guys.
