10. I don't think that's what that was about. I believe it was more of a
jab at blm for saying how Dean's popularity is solely from being the darling of the corporate media.

4. He covered a lot in a short amount of time
he was concise and to the point. He was composed and intelligent - he portrayed a man in control - exactly what we need as a president.

6. Very nice
He's still doing the "high road" thing that most presidential candidates have done since radio and TV coverage - but he didn't forget to directly challenge Bush - and he mentioned Ashcroft and Halliburton by name. Good choices.

I think he still needs a big proposal to put him safely over the top; not just a "I'll fix problem X somehow" but "I'll do such-and-such to move America forward."

7. points of contention
I voted to threaten the use of force to make Saddam Hussein comply with the resolutions of the United Nations.

No he voted for all out war at the residents discretion.

So long as Iraq remains an American intervention and not an international undertaking, we will face increasing danger and mounting casualties.

Why didn't he insist on UN cooperation before the war?

But if I am President, the United States will never go to war because we want to, we will only go to war because we have to.

Sure! As evidenced by his IWR.

George Bush has sought to undo guarantees enshrined in the Constitution -- not by amending it but by subverting it with his judicial nominees.

So did john with his Patriot Act and Homeland Gestapo votes.

9. Nice technique.
What was it about repetition? Oh yeah: "Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."

11. "My Candidate Sucks So Bad That I Have To Attack Yours"
All hail CoffeePlease1947! He has come up with the perfect formula for dispelling all these negative campaign threads! All you Dean-bashers, Kerry-bashers, any-Democrat-bashers, please repeat after me: “MY CANDIDATE SUCKS SO BAD THAT I HAVE TO ATTACK YOURS.”

If I were a Bush supporter, I would be ROFLMAO to see all these Democrats ripping each other to pieces. My candidate in the general election is Anybody But Bush. As for the primaries, I haven’t decided yet. Amazing, ain’t it? Considering that the primaries are only six months away.

Come on, ladies and gentlemen! Unity, please! Eyes on the prize! BUCK FUSH!

8. Message improving IMHO.
It was a good speech overall.

Attacking Dean of the gun issue was a better tactic.

The corporate bashing was a good touch.

12. Every day is extra
after 9/11 I can relate.

Kerry's my man. I love him unapoligetically, and I would be proud to have him as my president.
And notice his counter to the dreaded Mass. liberal label: "We (are) no longer the kid from Arkansas or the kid from Illinois. We (are)Americans". Reminds me of what Adams once said "I am an American before I am a Massachusettsman".

And the thing about the loophole heavy tax code should put the issue of the care for the rich by Bush front and center.

Yep, Kerry's got legs, and they should take him far.
