One more reason why I don't get it. (m)
Granted, I am new to all this, this being the first election that I've been so outspoken, determined, and obsessed about. But, I still don't understand how we could possibly have lost without it being stolen. And, here's just one More reason why I feel that way... I was finally getting around to sorting through the kids' Halloween candy today, throwing out trash, candy they won't eat, etc. In my daughter's bag, attached to a "goodie bag" of candy, was a slip of paper. On that slip of paper said the following:

www.republicansforkerry04.org
Because Country Comes Before Party

It gave me shivers to see this now. Out of curiosity, I went out to the website and checked out the forum. This was the second post out there: http://republicansforkerry04.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=612

They think we're hosed, too. So, if a candidate has all the democrats behind him, as well as quite a few republicans, how else can he manage to lose the election unless he was "helped" to lose it?

Thanks,
Debbi

P.S. I finally saw Bush's Brain last night. Karl Rove is capable of anything, IMO.

1. It was stolen.
They know it and we know it. And yes Rover is capable of anything.

4. Welcome aboard Debbi801!
Glad to see you join us. As I'm sure you realize, that is the #1 question we are all asking. I'm not sure we did lose it. The big loser in this election was democracy. Nothing more corrosive to the institution than a widespread belief that the system is rigged against the majority.

Democrats have to do something very important in the next year, I think.

(1) Conduct a mass canvassing of the Democratic base in every state and every precinct. Ask these questions, in the framework of a written affidavit to give it legal standing:

a) Who did you vote for?
b) Why did you vote for him?
c) What is your 3 most important issues?

(2) Provide the same opportunity for every Republican who wishes to make his voice known the same opportunity.

Call it Project Democracy.

Lets count our own votes.........

6. Here's the "dems for bush" site... no forum of course
Dems write in criticizing, repubs write in asking him to be repub. Check this out, it's a sickening letter from someone who thinks hes a repub:

If you support President Bush, then become a Republican and adhere to those "core values" we all hear about, namely, smaller government, unfettered free enterprise, privatization/outsourcing, local control.

Oh yeah, everyone loves that smaller government that assface is putting forward.

7. We DIDN'T lose dear....
It was stolen by machines that can't give a recount. When they stole the 2000 election, Karl couldn't believe his dumb luck.. The thugs he sent down to Fla to bang on the door to stop the counting worked.

Then he spent the next four years solidifying relationships with voting machine manufacturers, who built little trap doors into the codes for him.

Don't stop working kid, you are on the side of the angels
O8)
While we keep screaming fraud, papering the Letters to the Editor columns and blanketing the media (for whatever crumb of attention we can get) We must also get to work on the mid-term elections of '06.

The machines aren't everywhere yet, and with enough noise we can get ones with paper trails installed.

Don't give up!

10. Focus on paper trails for votes by 2006: EVOTING FRAUD RESOURCE CENTER
http://www.independentmediasource.com/evotingfraud_things_you_can_do.htm

See what you can do to bring this about>

If we don't do this, no amount OF Dem votes will matter.
