One good person. I need your help.
I need the email address of one good person in the Democratic Party, with real clout. My heart and my soul demand that I write them now. Tell them of all of us. How adrift we are right now. How we need them to rally to us as we rallied to them. I have to do this. There is a human dimension that has to be spoken to in all this an nowhere do I see it being given any attention.

THEM(I cannot use any word or phrase that personalizes them any more than that) never left their people adrift like this. They always stood with their core. In the bad times too. That is how they truly built their base.

Leaders cannot and must not cut and run in the hard times. Especially not now. We cannot afford demoralization to set in. That is a gift we cannot afford to give THEM.

Someone please. I will not abuse the contact. I will not abuse the person, but that said, I cannot stand by idly while the finest in idealism and idealists, committed and lovely people whom I respect like I have respected few others, are left to drift, feeling a sense of abandonment.

An email. A phone number. Something. PM, I don't care how. I will use it with the utmost responsibility, respect and decorum.

1. There is only one.
Howard Dean is the only man in the party with the balls to do what you're asking.

Some effective manner of contact. They must reach out. Now. Not later.

On edit: and I am always open to rational ideas.

9. I would state exactly what you feel, but lead in with
a grasping statement.

I think you already have one in mind considering it's elements are in your post.

I am a writer and would be happy to review anything you may have, but I would not deign to speak for you as your impetus is key.

10. Thank you.
I do know how to make an appeal.

No smarm or snideness intended in the above.

3. I'm with Hedda,
I cannot think of anyone else who could become a rallying force at all.

Barak Obama is untried, but there is hope there one day.

You are no "Sheisskoph".
