Bush/Cheney '04: "More votes than voters: Now THAT'S a mandate!"
Look at page 23 on the voter returns for Franklin County, Ohio:

http://www.franklincountyohio.gov/boe/04UnofficialResults/Unofficial%20Abstract%20of%20Votes%20General%202004.pdf

Check out the presidential totals for precinct Gahana 1:

The Libertarian: 13
Bush/Cheney: 6253
Kerry/Edwards: 1916
Constitutional Party: 10

Now, check out the senatorial vote in that precinct:

Republican: 2848
Democrat: 1259

Did 4000 people vote for Bush/Cheney and just skip the senatorial vote?

No. Check out the precinct voter count: 4346.

An additional 4000 Bush/Cheney votes in box Gahana 1-B: go figure!

Bush/Cheney '04: "More votes than voters: Now THAT'S a mandate!"

2. And that's being corrected? Didn't think so.
The entire precinct needs to be invalidated.

5. I sent it on to Randi Rhodes - let her have fun with this!
I think that their "typo" gave the weed way to many votes. How many more typos are in their records?

10. Computer Geek Conspiracy Corner Time

8192 votes were cast for president? Interesting number for a computer geek. 2000 base 16, 20000 base 8. 8 X 2^10 or 8K (base 2). I get a little suspicious when supposed real world numbers suddenly start matching magic computer numbers. Usually evidence of a bad hashing function. Probably just a coincidence though.
