Stephen Colbert just made my day.
On the Daily Show.

They pointed out how the Bush voters all voted for issues that really only impact Blue Staters, like terrorism and homosexual issues.

"You see, we are too close to the issues, it is the Red States, a comfortable distance from terrorism and homosexuality, who can see the whole picture and know exactly what we should do, Thank you Red States, for saving us from ourselves."

Its a bit paraphrased, but you get the gist.

For some reason I find comfort in the absurdity, but I'm weird.

1. "If you want to have gay sex or visit a library,
tonight might be your best shot."

So sad, but so true.

5. The amazing thing is they still think they are the victims.
They came out in droves for Bush because he convinced them that they were being persecuted. They still believe things are being controlled by us. They actually think that WE are undermining THEIR security.

8. The states most heavily affected on 9/11 voted for Kerry...
Why do they hate their security so much?

6. Love this show but...
I find it really depressing to hear Chuck Schumer laughing and giggling about the Dems getting "spanked." Yea, it's funny, Chuck. I'm laughing my ass off.

I guess everybody wants to just be united behind the president. Once again, no anger about the possibility of our getting screwed. Cuz vote fraud must be non-existent now. Because the guys in charge said so.

Bite me.

7. Hope he reads my e-mail
Their professionalism is missing at all the wrong times. After Diebold moves in they slur him, run some big name and take him out- if it's worth it. Or relegate him to maverick Moynihan limbo.

9. That wasn't what Chuck Schumer said,
I know its a dark time, but try not to lose touch. To judge him because he can keep his composure is rather silly. And he wasnt uniting behind the president. If you actually listened to his words you would have heard that he is as stunned as we are by what happened and he said there is a problem with the system, that this election result defied reason and there is a problem.

That is a pretty good reaction, he isnt saying that Bush is good, or that the people like Bush, he is saying the same thing we are saying, these people seem to have voted against their best interests, why is this happening.

These are the kinds of questions that head in the right direction completely.

You are too quick to jump on democrats.
