1. I didn't actually puke but I felt sick with incredible tension, anxiety

all night.

I couldn't even eat last night.

3. I turned off the television and just receieved my updates from here.

And I gotta tell ya, everytime I would refreshed the page, my stomach would turn in knots.

Then I woke up at 7:00 am

Then I managed to get into a stupid fight with someone who, for all I know,
was having the same post-election blues.

I've been borderline physically ill since last night and probably will be for a while. I feel at least as bad as I did after 9/11.

then had to go home with nausea, headache, post traumatic stress

12. I am in the strangest place.

Tranced out. Somewhat zombified, with periods of anxiety. Unable to focus for any long periods.

It's shock. Exactly what it is, and emotional shock.

I had such great hopes for change and for it having a positive effect on my personal situation. Those hopes are dashed. I had many, many hopes for improvement in other areas as well.

Now, quite selfishly, I only can hope to be able to watch a lot of people getting their noses rubbed in the piss puddle they have created.

That will be no solace, no palliative at all.

Tonight, we need some hope. We are a community that is looking around and sees little substantive in the way of hope.
