I hung my head and wept thinking of how our country
has gone so so wrong under the thumb of madmen,
and how it has a chance of changing now.
The shaggy-headed young man I saw on TV 35 years ago
speaking so sincerely and strongly against an insane war
is about to get elected President of the USA
in the middle of another one. May God and we
and every good force in the world be with him now
and in the years ahead.
