Iraq mom riled by Giuliani remark

In a morning television appearance, Giuliani criticized Democrat John Kerry for blaming Bush for the disappearance of hundreds of tons of explosives in Iraq.

"No matter how you try to blame it on the president, the actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there. Did they search carefully enough?" he said on NBC's "Today" show.

That rankled Eleanor Kjellman, an Air Force veteran whose son is an Army reservist in the Mideast.

"That was such a demoralizing, destructive statement for Rudolph Giuliani to make. Once again they (the troops) are scapegoats for the administration's failures," she said at a Democratic protest before a planned appearance by Giuliani in Bedford.

3. I said that to my Mother earlier this evening ...
He's done. He will never be Prez because there is no way he will ever get the support of the active military, the veterans and their families.

Yo Rudy ... troops don't get to do what they want - they do what they are told!

4. What an incompetent country we live in.
CIA gives Bush bad intel on Iraq
FBI can't catch hijackers
Our troops can't guard ammo dumps or find OBL
The AF couldn't protect us on 9/11
Our media can't be trusted to get the story right

Poor George, I bet he wonders what he did to deserve such a stupid country.

What a pig. I seriously hope this gets filed away if he decides to run for another office.

7. good save, Rudy!

As Kjellman was speaking out, Giuliani was at a GOP event in Gilford. There, he said that in blaming Bush for the missing explosives, Kerry himself was implicitly blaming the troops.

:wtf:
