The ECONOMIST Endorses Kerry

Albeit very half-heartedly. Still, I'm glad to see some conservative publications with sense realizing that Bush is thoroughly incompetent.

Their cover is somewhat snarkily called "The incompetent or the incoherent?" (well, they got one right.) Still, an endorsement is an endorsement, and it's nice that they see that the emperor has no clothes.

This both heartens and saddens me. It nice to know there are some conservatives with a least an ounce of sense, but it annoys me that a very effective criticism of Bush didn't come from our side.
