Iraq Vet Against the War and Former Marine Jimmy Massey needs our help!
Jimmy Massey was a Staff Sergeant in the USMC who was interviewed in the article, "I Killed Innocent People for My Government", which can be found here: http://www.inmotionmagazine.com/opin/pr_sjm.html

Jimmy wrote a book manuscript about his experiences in Iraq, with the goal being to blow the lid off the propaganda surrounding what is really going on over there, and help to get the truth out to the US public. The problem is, he has been having trouble finding a publishing house that will print it, and he and his wife have nearly exhausted their savings in the process.

Any help you can give Jimmy Massey would go a long way. If you can just send $5, that would be immensely helpful. In fact, it's much more important to send him $5 today, as opposed to $20 tomorrow.

For any people interested in helping Jimmy Massey, send me a PM and I will send you his address.

Please keep this thread kicked.

2. My vet said the same thing

in Vietnam, that leaflets were thrown all over the place to who they called Charlie but many many were innocent civilians and told them to give up and propoganda was all over the place from the Huey drops.
The whole time as Kerry said, it did not matter. They were going to die anyway. There was a saying that the soldiers had , Kill em all and let God sort em out". There was a Genenva convention then too BUT many were ordered to go around it. He was in country in 71 when Kerry testified and wanted out of that place so bad ! My husband said that for his tour of duty all he knew that he was fighting for was to stay alive and make folks like Bell Helicopter rich.

He pays the price for that now with screaming nightmares and flashbacks and scenes just as real 30 some odd years later as they were then. I am afraid this might happen to this author. Many live with Surviors Guilt.

They brought the war home with them. HArd as they try to forget, it is locked in there like nothing else. There is no glory in war. Only a numb dead like look in their eyes.
Something so horrible happened to the VN generation and those SB Liars are in denial. They know what happened over there, and if they admit it, they have to deal with it. What about people like this Iraqi vet and many many VN vets who deal with it every single day and so does every person they come into contact with.

I can spot a combat vet usually a mile away ! The 1000 yard stare never goes away.
