Not even an article at Yahoo for anything except the Zarqawi aide "precision strike." Black-out time until after the election!

Hmmmmm, I wonder what government official was in this government vehicle. I am betting he did not survive, what a mess...

... Some more al-Zarqawi aides emerge from their safe house...

2. Remember that explosion in Baghdad that I posted in LBN yesterday?
4 US troops were killed in that explosion protecting this vehicle.

It took the US media over 24 hours to admit it.

4. For those of you who might be interested ...
... I recommend reading a new book by Jon Lee Anderson Ñ "The Fall of Baghdad".

What makes the book a fascinating read is that it's told with a great emphasis on the Iraqi point of view Ñ from Anderson's longtime friends and acquaintances in Iraq Ñ both before, during and after the invasion.

Many of the people quoted in the book accurately foretell what is now obvious Ñ that American's have no chance of succeeding in Iraq.

Of course, prior to the war, nobody in the administration would have been listening.
