U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning, A Fox News True Believer. LOL
A Fox News True Believer:

U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning said yesterday that he was unaware of reports that a unit of Army Reserve soldiers in Iraq had refused an order to deliver fuel for reasons including that their trucks were lightly armored.

"I don't know anything about that," Bunning said during a news conference after a speech he gave to the Rotary Club of Louisville.

Bunning added that Congress had approved money to upgrade body and vehicle armor. "And I believe that has all been accomplished. And I don't know about your reservists," he said. "Unfortunately, we've had some reports, but I don't know the one you're specifically talking about."

When reporters told him that the unit's refusal was a national news story and involved a soldier from Louisville, Bunning said, "Let me explain something: I don't watch the national news, and I don't read the paper. I haven't done that for the last six weeks. I watch Fox News to get my information."

7. The perfect sig line!
"I don't know anything about that... I watch Fox News to get my information."

Or maybe a little more cutting:

"I don't know anything ... I watch Fox News to get my information."

8. A Senator that watches Fox News...what a fuckstick
I went to his site to see what he had to say about military matters and to see if he is a vet.

Of COURSE he never served, "September 11, 2001 changed everything" is the first thing on the page, and he makes a point of listing all the military pork he got for Kentucky.

And as for the terrorist events that happened during Clinton's term, he says "Instead of facing the threat of Islamic radicalism, we virtually looked the other way."

:eyes:

What about the 7 months prior to 9/11, you reactionary jackass?

It's rather scary that a United States senator does not keep up with the news. This would bother me even if it was a Democrat. I cannot believe that this moron is representing me in the Senate. :grr:

10. It was reported today that the Democratic powers that be
have (just yesterday) thrown a "ton" of money to Bunning's opponent (Dr Mongiardo) although the latest polls - before the latest flaps - had Bunning up by possible double digits. Something's in the air, because this is money that could have just as easily gone to other senatorial campaigns.
This is one race worthy of attention.
...O...

11. I used to assume that politicians didn't believe their own garbage.
But in the last few years, I've come to think that "leaders" are even more indoctrinated than the average person.

12. A Senate Candidate who admits he 'only watches Faux News' ..
Is admitting to the world he is a one-sided bigot without a desire or drive for an expansive, broadly constructed intellect ....

It says "I am ignorant, and I intend to remain ignorant" ...

What a fucking maroon ....

14. How Sad that Bunning didn’t Continue in the Managerial ranks….

in the game of baseball. There aren’t many pitchers that throw a “perfect game”; no hits no walks in 1964 for Jimbo. Sorry Jim, you would have made a great pitching coach, but, you should have ruled out politics. You should have chosen the right game!

:-(
