CNN Gallup :Poll & Frank Newport.
I believe the talking head is Frank Newport and he looks just like Frazer's nervous younger brother. But he's selling numbers that aren't being supported by anybody else. He had Bush at 52% & Kerry at 48%, (and I paraphrase) possibly a reaction against things said during the debate.

Is this an OLD Gallup poll?

1. It's the new poll using the same deceptive methodologies...
Gallup is using "likely voters" as their format, but they are polling more Republicans than they are Democrats despite the fact that there many more REGISTERED Democrats than there are registered Republicans.

2. They have the power to manipulate (steal) the electoral vote,
however, they will never get the popular vote.
I know, I know...a hell of a lot of good that does us!
A n d, yes, something is rotten in "Gallup"!

3. It's a Gallup poll- what difference does it make whether it's old
it's still skewed and doesn't reflect reality- nor was it meant to.

7. Why is CNN pushing this poll if it's flaw?
I believe Gallup's numbers are skewed for the reasons you all mentioned, but why would CNN taint themselves? Do they have their own reputations as objective reporters to consider?

8. They're already up to their eyeballs this year.
If CNN cut Gallup loose in the middle of an election year, that would admit their lack of confidence in the poll. If they really had no confidence in Gallup, they'd wait until after the election to fire them.

That, and the fact that Gallup supports the mega-media anti-Kerry agenda... but let's not go there.

4. What I fail to understand in the
Gallup numbers is the thrill freepers are having over it. Their guy, the frigging incumbent, is at 52% and they're giddy over that?

5. Think About This !

Gallup is rigging their own polls by oversampling Republicans. They are sampling 38% Republicans, 32% Democrats, and 28% Independents. When we all know there are more registered Democrats than there are Republicans. If anything they should be oversampling Democrats, not Republicans.

And don't forget that a few days before the 2000 election Gallup had Bush beating Gore by 10 points. Boy did they get it wrong, they both got 48% of the vote and Gore actually won the popular vote by 600,000 votes.

I think it is a good thing that Gallup is reporting this bogus polls, it will just keep the Democrats fired up to vote. It will energize people to go out and vote for Kerry.

I predict a big win for Kerry, and I have been saying this for about 6 months now. I think Kerry wins by 3 to 5 million votes in a landslide.
