Last night dozens of pairs of flip-flops were hung over Kerry yard signs by the republicans; as they were hung, the young dems followed them around and removed them. Here is a story about "Operation Night Watch".

The XXXXXXX County Young Democrats are turning the table on those stealing and vandalizing Democratic yard signs.

Young Democrats Political Director XXXXXX has announced an overnight yard sign lookout program called “Operation Night Watch.” Young Democrats will be hitting the streets during the midnight hours and immediately replacing signs that are stolen or vandalized. Each time a yard sign is replaced, contributors will give money dedicated to electing Democrats.

According to XXXXX, dozens of yard signs are stolen or vandalized each week, mostly on weekend nights.

“Vandalizing yard signs is already counter productive, all it does is fire up the party base and makes them work harder,” said XXXXX.

to continue. I like that the Dems aren't going out to trash Repuke signs, simply replacing their own-makes for good pr with any undecideds, and it is the right thing to do.
