I feel like I'm in Germany in 1939. Does that make me bad?

1. Whew! Thank Goodness Someone Else Feels That Way Too...
... I thought it was just my overactive imagination. You're exactly right. It's very reminiscent of the crowds chanting back to their Fuhrer. Frightening indeed! -- Allen

9. God yes. When they did it at their convention, it really creeped me out.
They've been running faster and faster towards open fascism.

11. When ever I see it.. I think of Kerry in Ohio
the day before the Convention in Boston..giving a speech and having that noise in the background and finally stoping and saying .."four more years of WHAT?" And then he went on to name a litany of offenses bush had committed in the last four years.. So it actually puts a smile on my face:) But,I see your point..they are like brown shirts..not only from that but in all their actions.

12. Four more years to bring the country all the way to its knees.
Then, flat out prostrate.

14. I think I've heard it chanted by incumbent supporters at every reelection
campaign, at least since I started paying attention 30-odd years ago. But I gotta admit, it sounds a little more spooky this time around.

18. It's Very Ominous Sounding This Time
In the past, the four-more-years chant has always had an celebratory air that was more along the lines of "hooray-for-us". When I hear the Neo-Cons chanting it now... it sounds hate-driven, angry and venomous. -- Allen

16. It reminded me also of every cheese Jesus movie I have ever
seen when Pilate asks the mob to choose Jesus or Barabbas and they yell to release Barabbas supposedly a bad guy.

17. Banzai! (TenThousandYears) Banzai! Banzai!
It literally means "ten thousand years" ... and when I saw the RNC reichbots yelling this, I flashed on Tojo's crowds yelling it. Yes, it's fascism. No question about it.
