Why didn't anyone tell me Ann Coulter was a man?

Seriously, that person does NOT have two X chromosomes. He/She makes a "pretty" woman, but I'm trying to figure out if its a transgender issue, or just a cross dressing thing. I don't really care; I just never knew about it before. Is this one of those issues that should be addressed to help everyone understand the issues in America, or is it just "mean"? :)
