What if Michael Moore publicly offers to let Sinclair stations...
air Fahrenheit 911 as a one time "rebuttal" to their little stunt? Would this expose their bias? As if that wasn't already very evident

1. He can't. It would kill the Oscar possibility.

Also he'd have to get all of the distributors to agree to it.

not that would make any difference. I don't think Sinclair would show it. Nor do I think the distributor would OK it.

4. Oscar isn't a problem, distributors may be
He has publically stated that he will forgo the nomination to get the film to as many people as possible.

6. But if Sinclair ran it commercial-free (as they plan to do with the...
Kerry hit piece), there would be no lost potential advertising revenue

All he has to do is make the offer. The Sinclair pigs will obviously not take him up on it.

10. Didn't CNN say that MM is going to do a pay-per view?

I could have sworn I heard CNN say that Michael Moore was going to do a pay-per view showing of F9/11 for $9.95 a day or so before the election. I was trying to listen for Chris Reeve news when I heard this. Hmmm I wonder if I was dreaming.

3. Michael would love the power to get F911 on television....
..but he can't do it. He gave up the Best Doc Oscar in the hope of pulling it off. But Michael can't get F911 on televiosion unless the corporate powers that be--enable it. ANd Lions Gate won't allow it.

Michael Moore wants in on TV more than anyone!! IT'S NOT HIS FAULT!

8. He was going for the Best Picture Oscar this year
Because he feels that there are enough good documentaries in the Best Documentary Oscar and doesn't want to take attention away from them.

9. That too!
I was just seeking to respond to the countless DUers who still seem to think the Michael Moore has the power to get F911 televised. Thanks for emphasizing the point that Michel Moore is really consumed with helping people other than himself at this point.

11. exactly! Going Upriver is pro-Kerry
F911 is anti-Bush.

what Sinclair plans to run is 90 minutes of anti-Kerry, if anything runs, it should be something TRUTHFUL about Kerry to counter that message.
