Sending mix messages to the troops.

How is saying, "this is the wrong war, at the wrong place and the wrong time", then addressing a way to get out of this mess, sending a mix message to the troops? It is too late, the troops are already over there.

To me, a true mix message to our troops says, just because you loose a limb, or worse, a life. We are not obligated to help you or your family in your time of need.
