The original sample ballots:

-Had no candidate statement for one candidate
-Omitted some candidate names
-Omitted Measure K
-Omitted Measure M

Bechtel said her office focused on wording and spelling in the sample ballots.

"Obviously, what we didn't have was a double check for something that was left out," she said. "Obviously, that's what we're going to be working on for sure."

You'd think that in the process of checking the wording and the spelling, the average 6th grader would notice that words were missing - DUH!
