Fire Dan Rather

There was some advertisement during Paula Zahn's show last night on CNN by some media news watchdog group (uh - huh) who wanted Dan Rather fired for compromising the integrity of the News Media with blatant politically motivated hit pieces, or some such nonsense. They have a petition to get Dan Rather fired.

WHO is this group? Anyone have the website URL?

1. I dont know, but you might want to contact CNN and ask them

to do a story on the obvious hypocrisy displayed by this group. When you have FOX News doing made up stories on Kerry as well as other things just in the past week, hearing calls for Rathers resignation kind of ring hollow if we are going to discuss journalistic integrity.

2. The memos have NOT been proven fake. One more time, with feeling...

...the CBS memos HAVE NOT BEEN PROVEN FAKE. In fact, the latest opinion by an expert in 1960-1980 military documents says that the memos were definetely NOT PRODUCED ON A WORD PROCESSOR.

Fire Dan Rather??? I think not. I'm thinking the Congressional Medal of Freedom.
