9. They are all news photos
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 11:26 AM by jackstraw45
All available thanks to the internet.

news.yahoo.com has a lot of the photos and I use their search engine. Unfortunately, they aren't on a single link...except for this thread that is.

18. In the top picture,
every single one of those children is sitting with arms crossed. Not a smile to be found. Not one set of eyes making contact with the camera. Certainly there are no smiles in the second picture. What do they have to smile about? :(

23. It's a photo-op
Meanwhile, their brothers, fathers, cousins, sisters, mothers are being killed in air strikes every day.

These children live in a war zone in Al Sadr city. Their country is on the verge of civil war.

Your question is right on the money.

7. Exactly! Why do you hate America jackstraw???
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 11:13 AM by RubyDuby in GA
Damn it! What is wrong with the media?? You'd think that maybe one of them would say to themselves "Aw fuck it, I'll just show what's really going on over there, just for today"

It makes me sick. Absolutely sick. This is exactly why they hate us so much Georgie....This is why!!!!

10. It's Hard Work destroying a country
and killing thousands of it's innocent citizens. :grr:

This administration must be tried for war crimes. We have to demand that they pay for what they have done. Bastards.

12. The more that is destroyed, the more tax $$$ for Haliburton and others
The administration WANTS perpetual war because it means perpetual "good times" for the defense contractors like GE, Lockheed, Haliburton, etc.

From your pockets to Haliburton - your tax dollars at work.

13. This is really the sad truth...
The old "war is good business" saw is sadly true. The more destruction, the more contracts to the profiteers.

It's heartbreaking, because the welfare of human beings is never considered in all this.

21. Doesn't even have to be a defense contractor, how bout Home Depot..
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 04:54 PM by OneTwentyoFive
The price of 7/16" OSB which is used all over new houses and as sheathing, roof decking etc,and used by remodelers has gone through the GD ceiling since this illegal invasion. Hell,I was buying the stuff for our home remodel 2-21/2 years ago for as little as $6.00 per sheet. It made it as high as $18.00 here, now its about $13.00.

But...Home Depot will certainly claim that they are just passing on cost, not making anymore than they were a couple of years ago. Yeah,Ok..like I'm buying that BS. Look how much HD gives Bush and Republican PAC's.
