it's not over yet.
Yes, Kerry put his foot solidly in Bush's ass last night, and thanks are to be roundly given for that.

Rove, though, is still Rove. Even if he weren't, the actual problems of governance that would face a Kerry presidency are huge. Don't stop pushing, ever.

Its another to score a touchdown.

5. Rove is just one man.
We know that, despite the Bush campaign's best efforts to resist, Bush was made to stand behind the podium last night and make his case to the American people. We also know that, despite the Bush campaign's best efforts to deceive the public, 70-80% of polled viewers saw Kerry as being the stronger candidate as a result of that debate. We also know that, if forced to run on the facts alone (not smear campaigns), Kerry would win in an absolute landslide.

This is a scenario that the Bush team saw coming, and even their best efforts could not forestall it. They cannot and will not prevent the truth from seeping through the cracks, not with all the post-debate spin in the world.

This is especially effective for democrats since everyone is waking up to the sickening reality of Bush's incompetence (even republicans) *right before the actual election*. Our president's inconsistency and weakness behind the podium will be fresh in the minds of American voters when they go to their local polling places, and that's exactly what we need.
