The director, Greg Spotts, is touring America showing his movie. I caught it in Seattle, and it is pretty good.
At our showing, there was a panel discussion afterward, and I can tell you that there were a lot of worried and frustrated people in the audience. The panel consisted of one out-of-work engineer, 4 labor union reps, and one self-proclaimed "neutral" Seattle times reporter. The reporter was clearly uncomfortable, and made several impolitic gestures such as saying matter-of-factly that he personally was not worried that his job was under threat from outsourcing. He even at one point during the discussion tried to suggest that the audience was unfairly "stereotyping" Indians (by suggesting that many of them are engineers, or something) -- trust me the interjection was completely unwarranted; he was basically an insensitive jerk.
Anyway, like I said the movie is good. If there are young people in the family it is a particularly good idea to have them see the movie.
