1. Odd that the poll ends...
... August 2004, and that it offers a chance to win a new iPod. Don't think you'll see results of this poll.

2. Their FAQ says the results will start showing up 8/2004
I've done a few of these things before, but I've never seen a result. I hope this doesn't turn out to be another email harvesting scam.

11. I asked, several weeks ago and got this reply
(at least, I think that it was the same organization)

Thank you for taking the time to complete our recent OpinionPoint poll.

OpinionPoint is a non-partisan polling organization, and we conduct polls for both Democrats and Republicans – liberal, moderate, and conservative. However, our clients do not always give us permission to identify them. Rest assured that when you answer a poll at OpinionPoint, your privacy is secure, and your responses do make a difference. We look forward to hearing from you again in future polls.

If you have any more questions or comments, please email me at [email protected] or visit our website at www.opinionpoint.com. Again, many thanks!

8. That looks like a link from
a crappy banner ad. They're probably harvesting email addresses to spam or something like that.

10. i told them their poll was bullshit
they think everything comes down to TV personalities ... I told them the real issue was centralized corporate control of our mass media ...

i'm fairly confident they don't really give a damn what I think ...

what they're really trying to do is acquire demographic data to sell to the networks ...

I just gave my address to a spam harvester. Damn.

Neat poll though.
