We're Being Played!
Played like freaking violins! The only question is by whom and how severely!

Part of me wishes it was only the everyday "being lied to" scenario, that the Teeming Millions are clueless but that we, who keep our eyes and ears open "get it"... but sadly, I think even WE are "suckas" at the gigantic phallus that IS the American Way Of Life!

Decades ago, it was the joy of the Illuminati, the "in crowd" the Cabal (TINC) to ride over the hoi polloi like pale princes on clueless pachyderms. The "middle level" dupes (that's us, folks) either grinned fatuously that we were (In The Know* or strove feverishly to awaken the proles.

Those days are over. As the top layer of shit hardens in the fall breezes, the gooshy underpart begins to wither away, drying from within into a helpless, gormless rattling mass of shit-dust. Again, that's US, folks!

the Democratic Party puts up a great front, still, but when even the once respected "mainstream media" are co-opted, the handwriting is on the wall. The true leaders are now stepping on each finger, one by one, and it's only a matter of time before we fall off the ledge entirely.

Counter-information hasn't worked. Protesting hasn't worked. "Waking up the masses" hasn't worked.

And in the million-to-one chance that we will be allowed to "win" the election (I think they're tired of playing with us in that arena) "President" Kerry will be savaged and gut-ripped EXACTLY the way Clinton was! But worse. Far. FAR worse!

Back in the Sixties, the ones in power hanstrung and murdered our leaders. Kennedy, King, Kennedy, Malcolm X, Cointelpro ruled the day and Hoover and Nixon had us killed by the hundreds, covertly, or our institutions and movements disrupted to the point where we had nothing left and we collapsed.

It will happen again. Not if... WHEN.

If we rise, we will see yet another wave of assassinations. Another wave of counter-ops. Another wave of disruptions. But not as covertly as before. Oh, no. They know they have us now and they know that the generation of Americans that *remembered* TRUE democracy is dead or dying. The Greatest Generation would have remembered and risen like stung panthers to counter this threat. But they are leaving us to our fate.

I'll vote. We will vote. It's the last gesture we'll be permitted. I really doubt they'll permit Kerry to come to power, but if they do, he won't last the term. Either some hideous "scandal" will bring him down (and the Dems along with him) or he'll go the way of KIng or Kennedy or Pope Paul (or was it John? I've forgotten the poor bastard's name, even!) who was only Pope for about a month or two... until the College of Cardinals found out he was planning to phase out opposition to birth control and abortion! at which point he was capped in his sleep.

Dan Rather was our "miner's canary". Well, Birdy is stiff at the bottom of the cage and the Corporation aboveground just cut the cables to our elevators. The gas is entering the shafts and we're toast.

What do we plan to do about it?

Discuss.

2. There are too many people like me who want to preserve what was
good about the U.S. and believed in our fellow-citizens to a further degree than today. Our problem is the swallowers who sustain PNAC, the cabal, the Fed Soc and all those who are hell bent on creating a king-surf society.

3. I have always maintained that a large majority
would vote for Kerry, but that he would not be allowed to win. It only remains to be seen how the fascists will pull off the final coup. And I believe that it will be the final coup. With four more years of PNAC and world conquest, we will never have another election - not a real one. The Republican/fascists do not care about our nation as embodied in the Constitution, they only care about our "nation" as embodied in its power, wealth, position and geography. These guys have "taken the plunge", so to speak; they are ready for a "new world order" and view themselves on a par with the founders of the republic. There are people who will not accept this state of affairs as "real" and will continue to see all of this in only party politics terms. They still see the "answer" as "getting out the vote" or "honing the message" - they don't get that once the fascist Leader gets into power, he never loses another "election". What do we do? Live as best we can or fight and die - those will be our options. I know this sounds bleak and hopeless, and like Cassandra's mumblings will go unheeded; but it is what I see...
