Unless the people of decency in this country gain control of this
country from the hate and war mongers among us, we are headed for financial and possibly even military ruin setting off worldwide depression for many years to come and possibly even many wars with increasing lethality in which we will have to remain spectators when we could be a force for good. I am afraid that our Iraq expedition has laid the foundation for a total unraveling we will come to regret.

1. I already regret it
because this isn't going to be over anytime soon. We are in there for 10yrs easily... quite a legacy the shrub is leaving. He's done his daddy proud.

3. WE won't be spectators.
Make no mistake about it. It can come to us and probably will.

4. Yeah, I knew in my gut as we headed for the Iraq invasion ...
that it was the beginning of the end of America as we know it, if we were to go ahead with the invasion.

Just about drove me nuts. It's like riding in a plane, and the pilot has decided to fly it into the ocean and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

Fucking Bush. May God damn him to hell. And soon!

5. No kidding.
The United States of Insanity also re-elected Richard Nixon, the other total maniacal psychopath to be President. There are many who are dead or emotionally ruined because of him.

6. What is so heartbreaking is that there are so many kindhearted
people in this country who are struggling everyday with the real needs of women, children and the handicapped and our socalled leaders waste precious resources on warmaking.

7. $200 BILLION and 1,000+ dead...
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 11:54 PM by Qst4Q
I can't even concieve of that kind of money... yet noone would consider plunging us into the greatest deficit in history to address the real needs you mention. When I think of what could be done with that kind of money... when I think what 1,000+ young Americans could've done with that kind of money and a positive direction...

8. You have summed up the crises with great precision.
Keep on writing. Maybe somebody will be influenced for the good.
