Howard Stern says George W. Bush used privelege to get into National Guard
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 09:10 PM by Eric J in MN
MOVELEFT MEDIA

On a recent radio show (Sep 9, 2004), Howard Stern said that he supports many Republicans, but Bush is a "lightweight and we're in trouble."

Robin Quivers added that Bush created a mess in Iraq.

They also talked about George W. Bush using his family connections to get into the National Guard.

1. Stren and Voter Turnout.
It will be interesting to see what kind of voter turnout Stern can produce. He may be the best thing we have on our side.

8. Just out of curiosity, why does Stern consider himself
a Republican? I don't care for his show because of the sexism, but I don't think his view of women as either scary MOM or naked BARBIE doll qualifies him to be a Republican.

10. Howard Stern didn't say he's a Republican. He once ran
for governor of NY as a Libertarian (but dropped out before the election.)

In the audio clip, Stern says he supports some Republicans, and specifies former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and current NY Governor George Pataki.

(I don't like Giuliani or Pataki, by the way.)

9. This would play well with Edward's...
...Two Americas theme.

Has he dropped this since accepting the Dem nomination?
