4. what 'areas' report that?
The channels on DirecTV & Dish are national, except 4 the local station feed. W/ DirecTV, if you're watching CBS on 380 (east coast feed) or 381 (west coast) you're watching network. But if you're watching the local feed - a 900 channel, that is your local station and I guess locals can cutaway.

6. I Watched It From Direct TV
Got it from the "Local Station" that we subscribe to, from Pittsburgh, PA. We are one of the zillions of small dish folks who live out in the country where there is no cable and reception of broadcast channels is very very limited (1 station year round and NPR during the winter months only and not very good reception even then).

7. I got it.
I'm on Direct TV (as much as I hate giving money to Murdoch - I subscribe for the sports) and I got it. However, with that said I don't get local channels so I get the NYC CBS feed, so I assume it depends on how you receive your network channels (local or as I do). If the local CBS affiliate didn't show it, you won't get it via CBS anyway?

11. I Take It You Didn't See It
60 minutes gave a 20 minute segment that was about as damming about Bush's lack of service and how he managed to get into the TANG as has been shown on broadcast TV. The Ex Lt. Gov of Texas was on and he admitted he had got Bush into the Guard ahead of others who were properly wait listed - and that he was now ashamed of having done so. The article also disclosed documents that showed that while in the Guard Bush disobeyed a written order to take his flight physical and that his superior was intimidated into writing false reports as to his competence when in fact Bush' whereabouts couldn't be accounted for, let alone the actions he was supposed to have been evaluated for. This may have been the most damming piece of newscasting ever for Bush, and it is being attacked from all sides.

9. Absolutely NOT TRUE
I watched it on CBS East when it came on the first time, and then I watched it on CBS West when it came on two hours later.

The whole thing was on. Why started this Dtv rumor?

12. I don't watch TV
But I heard this somewhere - had to have been on Democracy Now! - my only sources for news are DU, DEM. Now! and the local paper. It sure as hell wasn't in the local paper.

Maybe it was a local station that broke away for a real reason.
